I've commented before about how much I love the Sunday NYTimes. Wierdest story in today's paper has to be this one detailing how a song can be deadly in some karaoke bars.
John took me to see Frank Sinatra when he appeared at what was then the MGM Grand in either 1985 or '86. It was incredible, even though Mr. Sinatra had to use a teleprompter to help himself remember the words.
I was in Chicago when he died and somewhere in a box, I still have the special tribute editions of the Tribune and Sun-Times from then.
