How to cover the death of a popular meteorologist
Here is Aaron Barnhart's take. I can assure you that although the decisions were most difficult at WDAF, we also struggled with how to tell and how much to tell about how Don Harman died.
You made the right decision all the way in my opinion. You are in the news business. That was news. Frankly, having such a long discussion about it was a bit bothersome to me. A story is a story.
